Daytona's dip stick is fine piece of engineering. It has a temperature gauge for checking engine oil temperature. I like the quality of product and its look when gauge is installed. One small disappointment is poor oil level marking. The dip stick only have one line instead of marking for min and max. oil level

Because of the installation location, it is difficult to read the oil temperature in real time while the vehicle is running. Also, it is difficult to read the oil temperature at night, even when the car is stopped at a traffic light, depending on the ambient light intensity. However, the construction is simple (I have been using it for more than 10 years) and it is a completely trouble-free and tough oil temperature meter.
The dial can be turned to any angle by removing the C-ring with a tool (Snap ring pliers).
Like the OEM Oil level gauge, it can also measure the amount of oil, making it an excellent tool for two roles.
