I've been looking for an Inner fender because I'm concerned about a lot of mud splashing under the Trunk.
There was no setting for TRICITY300.
So I installed this inexpensive one for XMAX on my TRICITY 300.
TRICITY300 is not a compatible model, but there are many common parts and common design with XMAX.
I checked this product on the net and judged that it could be installed, so I bought it as a trial.
It is not a simple installation, but it is easy to install if you can do normal maintenance.
As a result of installation, I am satisfied with the OEM look and the mudguard effect is GOOD.
I'm not responsible for this, but I'll note the steps I took for reference.
There is an important note on the work at the end.
Remove the lower bolt of the Right SideRear suspension and make it possible to move back and forth.
Prevention of scratches and improvement of mounting flexibility.
Remove the exhaust system.
Don`t forget to disconnect the O2Sensor Connector! Disconnection is expensive.
Remove the clamp that holds the rear brake hose and SIDEBrake Cable.
Bolt1 pc.
In fact, it is better to remove the brake hose to avoid damage, but I rejected it because it is troublesome to remove the air.
Air cleaner is detached from Axle so that it moves up and down.
BoltQuantity:Hose off with 2pc + Axle.
Be careful not to scratch the surface when moving Case up and down.
Remove the Bolt1 pc from the Axle.
Do not use the Bolt attached to the product later as it will stop the product.
? Install this product.
It was very difficult to pass under the brake hose, but I managed to do it.
(It may be possible to cut a part of this product, but I gave up for fear of cracking when cutting)
The brake hose is tightened on the body with the clamp of ? Clamp the brake hose to the body.
Avoid the SIDEBrake Cable to the side and put it between this product and the Arm.
Pass the attached Bolt through the hole. Pass the attached bolt through the hole in the body and secure the body with Nut.
(This product and Axle interfered slightly and the fastening surface floated, so the interfering part was cut off.
(Nut's conclusion is easy once you get the hang of it)
One place in the fastening part used in XMAX is left because it is not in TRICITY300.
(After touching it, I determined that it would remain strong enough without it)
(Above. I gave up on it because I feared it might crack when I cut it. (This is the part where I said
If the Center of the Tire and this product do not match, try to modify the Clamp hole.
The point is to twist and Center out.
I was able to Center out OK with this, but I don`t know if it`s possible for all vehicles.
Even if it is difficult to center, there is no problem if it does not interfere with Tire.
? Assembly in reverse order.
(Important notes on the above work procedure)
Above ? to remove the O2 SensorConnector, but let's combine the Connector before IGNON!
IGOn without Connector coupling. O2 Sensor failure. would be recorded.
In this case, EngineCheckLamp will stay on if you don`t reset it in Shop.
(Must be a shop that can do YAMAHAMotorcycle's Reset)
I hope the above is helpful.
