[How is it used?
I used it for Rear tire of CYGNUS X 3 SE44J of Yamaha which I use in commuting every day.
I chose the OEM specified Size.
How was your experience with it?
This time, I changed the Front to the same brand D307, and it became quick handling anyway.
The grip is perfect on dry. I used to use FrontPirelli and RearIRC, but to be honest, they were out of line.
I've driven it in the rain a few times now and it's not scary or slippery at all, IIRC it was slippery on the White line....
How did it compare to other products?
Rear is compared to IRC, but Life is totally different, IRC is no Life at all.
Other than the Merit, which is soft and easy to build, the D307 is the way to go.
On the other hand, the D307 was quite tough to assemble because of its solid Tire.
But other than that, I have no complaints at all. With the rolling feeling and straightforward Handling.
You can see why it is chosen by so many people.
[Points to note]
When assembling by hand, be careful not to damage the Wheel or Tire Bead as the Tire is quite hard.
Also, for the CYGNUS, I believe the Right Side of the RearSwing Arm is removed, but note the position and orientation of the collar.
The lower bolt of the Swing Arm is difficult to remove because the Exhaust System is in the way & water accumulates and it is easy to rust.
It is recommended to apply lubricant to the screw part before removing it, and to apply anti-bite agent to the screw part when assembling it.
