I have said this before and this is something every fuel tank should have on them from factory. Fortunately, no scratches to cover on this beautiful tank. No need to tempt fate so I just thought it best bet for now to get a tank pad. This will help stop any scratces and abrasions from the jacket etc. The correct tank pad was not hard to find, I just filtered the manufacturer and then model of bike and there were a couple to choose from. I deceided on the genuine Kawasaki one as it will fit as it should do with it being made for this bike. The cost was not too bad actually and better than I had seen for sale locally. With a couple of other tank pads for other bikes, I had them all shipped together via EMS. EMS just do what they say and get your order to you quickly. Mine arrived 5 days after the shipping date which is perfect. The entire order was neatly packed in the box, the tank pads were all kept nice and flat so there was no distortion which could have been a problem when fitting. The tank pad came in a Kawasaki packet and was neatly presented. The pad itself feels very nice and smooth but does have a bit of friction due to the materials used. Fitting was straight forward and when on without issue. As this is a 3 piece tank pad, you should really mock up the fitting beforehand so you know where it will sit once you remove the backing. Easy if you take your time. No one wants to have a constant reminder that they messed up with a wonky set. Pleased with the purchase and hopefully, this stops any future scuffs from happening with my jacket zip. Thanks Webike

There are many manufacturers of tank pads, but this product is OEM parts, so I think this is the best for the design of the vehicle.
It was easy to apply and I was able to install it right away.

Because the part with the most contact with the Tank was not available, we considered other products, but in the end we decided to go with the OEM Product. The above complaint was resolved by using the Pad for Knee grip, and as a result, I was able to use the Pad for Knee grip. I am satisfied with the design of this product as the best match from a design perspective.
