Very happy that replacement parts are readily available from SP Takegawa.Products to buy together: While we are looking to protect the electronics it would also be desirable to purchase a meter protective film from DRC for the JC61 model Grom.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes less than 5 minute, removing the seat is needed to access the FI CON 2 and then the rubber cap simply pushes into place. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality replacement part that could save you hundreds of dollars in a replacement injection controller if it was to become damaged from dust of water entering the opening. Specifically designed and the only other option would be to bag the entire unit for protection.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post.
