This was the second part of the pad change on this old girl, 2002 YZF-R1 bike. As before, I found the correct pads by using the help pages from Webike and then cross referencing Yamaha schematics. Also, checking for superseded parts if there are any. On this occasion, this was the most up to date pad for the bike. The cost of the pads was really good and slightly better than could be sourced locally. I did have a few other sets of pads for other bikes in my order and this meant the shipping cost was lower than if you purchased say one set. Anyway, my order arrived in 5 days from being shipped. EMS was my chosen courier and everything was packed really well. The rear pads for this R1 are not particularly special and alothiugh the bikes do catch some speed, there are not many who use the rear brake to it's potential. They are really good brake pads for this bike anyway, they had just worn down more than I would have liked so this is why we changed them. Very happy with the final result, great work Webike.
I have not had the pleasure of this Fino before as it is a new customer but the front pads were not good and had be run with a contaminant between the disc and the pad which made these pads not perform how they should. Good old British weather for you and the grit used. No matter, the pads were easy to find witht eh Yamaha schematics. Webike had these in stock and the price was really competitive. A fair bit cheaper than my locally dealer could match. With some other parts in my order, all were shipped with EMS and arrived in 5 days. The box was packaged really well and nothing got any damage. These pads are a little odd looking but as they are Yamaha ones, I have no issue in putting my faith in them. If I did not like the quality of some parts, I would not fit them. All in all, the customer is really happy with the outcome and now this makes one happy mechanic. Appreciate it, thanks Webike. View Detail
Needed new front a back brake pads and wanted to keep genuine Yamaha ones. Very cheap for the brake pads. They are good and last a long while. Pads are great, look brilliant. Easy to fit them and ready to ride quickly. They are new so need to break in but very happy to have bought genuine.View Detail

The YZF-R1 2002 came in for brake pad change and for this reason, as this has already had many pad changes, the customer wanted to keep it standard and stay with the OEM set up for both front and rear pads. Finding the right parts for the job was not tricky as I use Webike help pages and cross reference with Yamaha schematics to make doubly sure. These pads were pretty good value for OEM ones and less than could be sourced locally. I usually have a few other parts ready to ship so this keeps the cost of shipping down. As this was part of a larger brake pad order the price was right. My order arrived via EMS in 5 days from shipping which you simply cannot argue about. My order was well packaged and the pads also came in the standar Yamaha plastic pack. The pads are not really anything special but due to the extreme speeds these bikes can reach, they are surely up for the task. Fitting was easy as the calipers were all ready to accept the pads. One less job, now on to the rears of this bike. Thanks Webike. View Detail
Another purchase of the Kitaco fuel hose as spares for the garage. I have used a few of the Kitaco parts recently and have been really happy with the quality and the price. I searched Webike for the relevant parts numbers and found exactly what I was looking for. There are a few different options for the fuel hoses from Kitaco so I got a set of each size. This one was of course the 4mm inner and 7mm outer version which is generally for smaller bikes. I did have some other Kitaco parts in my basket already so I figured, I would just get them all shipped together. My preferred courier right now is EMS as they get the orders delivered really fast. In 5 days my order arrived. The 4mm fuel hose was neatly packaged by Webike warehouse. The fuel hose came in the Kitaco packet which is supported by cardboard to keep it safe. Upon inspection, the diameter was spot on. The line itself is flexible and very well made. There were no kinks or major bends. This is the soft fuel hose which is slightly more flexible that the green version. It can be used in areas where the flex is needed the most to cover strange angles. The curve it is packaged in is perfect for my needs as I generally have a centimetre or so used as spare on installs. Overall, having not used the Kitaco brand for fuel hose before, I am very happy with the result. Thanks Webike, great work View Detail
The left front indicator unit for this bike had a small chip out of it which also resulted in a crack forming from a small accident. Due to the age of the bike and it not being very old at all, a new one was needed. Yes, I could have just got some cheap lens or second hand unit but why when the entire indicator assy was this good value. The part was found by using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Suzuki schematics. The price was reasonable and with a couple of other parts already in my basket, all were shipped via EMS. Arriving at my door in 5 days from shipping, perfect. The items in my order were all packed really well and no signs of any damage were found. The indicator unit itself is really clean. A very well put together indicator unit. All the edges were not sharp or could cause harm, the lens is a nice clear lens with a super bright orange bulb already fitted. So basically, you just plug it in and install where the old was. Super easy job but has a dramatic effect on the overall look of the bike. Now looks like it did when it came out of the showroom. Very pleased, thanks Webike. View Detail
As with when ever I change out bearings regardless of where, if the circlip is also available, I do tend to change these out too. No point putting a previously removed circlip on a new build. Yes, it might look ok but the tension is never going to be what it actually should be. So, finding the right circlip was as straight forward as finding the bearing. Using the tools Webike provide on their help pages and cross referencing for my own peace of mind on Honda schematics. The price was excellent as expected. With some other parts for this bike in my basket already, I had them all shipped together to save a little shipping fees. EMS is my courier of choice as they just get the orders delivered fast with no fuss. Upon arrival, the box was well packaged and all the smaller parts were individually packed for safety. The circlip came in the standard Honda packet. Not really much I can say about this circlip, it is well machined, the parameters are within spec. The quality is plain to see but until you attempt top put it in place, you are never going to know how it fits. With no issues on the install, I can say, this is a top quality part from Honda and that was the finish of the main bearing in the transmission replacement. Very pleased with the out come, the engine sounds healthy once again. Thanks Webike. View Detail

A few other parts needed to this old bikes rebuild and moving on from the fuelling to the suspension. The front fork guides were clearly shot on this bike and needed replacing. There were also a couple of other parts on the forks that needed spares too but that is another review. These fork guides were straight forward to find now I had a good schematics to check through. I did need 2 of course so the price was doubled. Saying that though, Webike price was far better than could be sourced locally. EMS is my favourite shipper these days as they just get your orders delivered fast. In literally 5 days from being shipped, the order was delivered to my door. All the parts in the outer box were well packaged and air pockets were used to cushion any movement which could cause damage to parts inside. The fork guides are heavy duty plastic, although I am not 100% sure what plastic it is. Probably ABS plastic as this is hard wearing. The quality is plain to see. There were no sharp edges to either of the fork guides. They did look just like the old ones but they had splintered off parts so were unusable anyway. I am not really up on my suspension rebuilds but as this is a pretty old bike, the suspension is not a tricky set up. Fitting is easy enough and with some of the other parts I ordered for the suspension, the rebuild was complete. Now onto the next part of this rebuild View Detail
A few small jobs needed to be completed on this Monkey bike of a customers. One thing that was failing was the tail light lens gasket rubber which had been pinched and was not sealing during wet weather, Obviously, this is not ideal as water is the enemy of the electronic on any bike. Luckily, we caught this in time and there was no real damage done to the electronic or the tail light lens. I found the right gasket for this tail light by using Honda schematics. The part is not an expensive one especially from Webike. It literally cost a few pounds. I wanted to get a few other parts for this bike and I ended up having all shipped using my favourite courier which is EMS. 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse my order arrived. All was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The gasket is a nicely made piece, it is injection moulded so you know it is going to fit exactly as it should. The quality is really good and they flex is enough but not too much to make the gasket go out of shape whilst fitting. Took a few minutes and then installed the tail light lens once more. Now this is water tight, there should be no issues in the future. Very pleased with this purchase and even more so with the low cost of the part. Brilliant work Webike. View Detail
